No thinking above your pay grade
Americans seem to take this instruction to heart. We’re not paid to think, so by golly we’re not going to do any thinking. Woe betide whosoever would raise their voice, upset the cart, and make the rest of us fall from favor.
As if things aren’t bad enough, someone who wants to question authority simply invites more trouble. And when there’s hope for change, peer pressure is brought to bear to keep critical thinkers from jinxing the prevailing buzz.

A Congressional resolution about the Wholesale Pardon of the Bush Criminal Cartel…
It’s a start. Last year and the year before Pelosi refused to put impeachment on the table.”Oh, goodness gracious no! It would make us seem Petty and partisan if we were to ever actually, you know, Do Our Jobs and confront the Dictator”

Kashmir, Israel, India, LeT, and the Mumbai events
Many Indian government figures are beginning to point the blame towards an organization called LeT, or Lashkar-e-Taiba, as being behind the attacks on targets inside Mumbai, India. LeT is an organization of resistance to Indian control over a major portion of Kashmir, where the India government has terrorized the people there for decades now, in one of the longest, bloodiest and nastiest conflicts worldwide, if not the very worst of them.

Ultra-Violent US Drug War creeping back North towards America
The US ‘Drug War’ is a spectacular international failure, whether it be Afghanistan, Colombia, Central America, or even the US-Mexico Border towns. In fact, the whole country of Mexico is being eaten alive by this so-called Drug War and the US population is hardly aware of what’s going on! How soon will it be before this newest bloodshed and carnage crosses to this side of the Border?

Crazy shoppers, or beguilingly crazy bargains? Which most aroused your curiosity? Savage crowd behavior, that’s nothing new. But maniacal consumer behavior in the mist of a darkening economic crisis –that’s PR whitewash.

Food alternatives to the Holy Wafer
“It is terrible that Jesus is being wrapped up in gold foil and sold along with chocolate bunnies, edible penguins and lollipops,” said Aegidius Engel, a spokesman for the archbishopric of nearby Paderborn. German churches find ‘chocolate Jesus’ tasteless

Get it right, Georgia!
A former Georgian ambassador to Russia has caused uproar in Georgia by saying his country, not Russia, started August’s war over South Ossetia. Will the messenger be killed now? Of course, Mr Kitsmarishvili still doesn’t have it right since it was the Republican Party in the US that started this war, not just the Georgian dictator, Saakashvili. That guy is just a US government puppet and not a loose cannon as the US government and media now want to portray him as being.

The only thing that is changing, is the meaning of “change.”
Obama picks economic crisis team.
Come meet the new boss, same as the old boss. You got fooled again! If you thought Obama would be Clinton II, guess again. He’s now looking more like Bush III. Told ya’ our “democracy” was a sham. The only thing that has changed, is the meaning of “change.” Orwell would be proud.

Buffalo Bill Lives at Fort Cody Nebraska
FT CODY, NEBRASKA- On I-80 as you pass North Platte, sits the Fort Cody Trading Post, home of the Free Buffalo Bill Museum Emporium. What had been the Ogallala, Neb, Sioux Trading Post, moved in 1969 to follow the travelers rerouted from Hwy-30 to the new interstate, and changed its focus from the Native American to the Ugly American.

Retaining Gates slam dunks the deluded USA liberals
Oh those poor deluded liberals! All that ‘hope’ for ‘change’ and look what it got them? Obama asks Gates to stay at Pentagon
No talk of getting out of Iraq now, and the Democratic Party ‘Peace’crats simply don’t have a Plan B beyond turning out the vote again and again for DP politicians who always give them the shaft once they are elected.

The United Nations pushes war and starvation onto the peoples of Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Congo, and Haiti
Aid workers: Hungry kids dying in Haiti- At least 26 malnourished children have perished; scores others treated You saw that picture of the starving young girl in Haiti in the US media last week as they reported the rise of starvation inside Haiti post this year’s hurricane season. They didn’t mention though that the United Nations is overseeing this starvation on behalf of the United States government.

‘Peace’crats refuse to be ‘United for Peace and Justice’

United for Peace and Justice is the national group that pretends to be the leadership for ‘Peace’ inside the US, yet they cannot even bring themself to speak out against the US war upon the people of Afghanistan! I call them ‘Peace’crats because they talk about PEACE in the abstract all the time, yet remain totally tied to the Democratic Party and do not actively oppose the war of US occupation of Afghanistan or speak out forcefully against it! They don’t want to embarrass Barack Obama and the Democratic Party and that is important to them above all else.

‘Change’ that isn’t change: Cronyism trumps empty rhetoric of Obama
Promises of ‘change’ empty of all real content followed by cronyist selections of long time Democratic Party hacks to replace the Republican hacks of the last 8 years. Yes, it is change of a sort.

Chenega and Pentagon Tomahawk cruise missile penetration of the US Native American community
Most of us know about how the Pentagon has people like Generals Colin Powell and Ricardo Sanchez on board for its penetration into the Black and Hispanic populations. Nothing too new about trying to buy off and corrupt America’s minority communities by holding out the military’s ’socialism’ for soldiers program here. Get some Blacks and Browns on board the racist US foreign policy of pummelling Black and Brown people abroad, while offering crumbs to the minority ethnic communities inside the US. Hold up a general or two high (even a president perhaps!) to try to convince these minority communities to participate eagerly into being co-opted by the military. But…

Weathermen for a Democratic Society
In 1969, the Radical Youth Movement (RYM) within Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) expelled the passive participants to reconfigure the SDS to Bring the War Home. At left, Bernardine Dohrn uninvites the Progressive Labor Party (PL) and the Worker Student Alliance (WSA) from the Chicago conference. Below is the founding document after which the RYM was renamed.

Ship of Fools and other Liberals
SUNY Binghamton student Tim LaPietra coaxed Ted Kaczynski to write a parable for the Autumn 1999 issue of the campus publication OFF! Predictably, the peer review of SHIP OF FOOLS was snarky, e.g. Watership Dim and Rime of the Ancient Unibomber, but no match for Kaczynski’s send up.
